| イベント詳細 | Course Objective PCI for coronary CTO has gained an increased interest over recent years although it represents one of the most challenging lesion subsets. Recently there has been a rapid and continuous evolution of CTO techniques including the retrograde approach and ADR that have driven greater procedural success. However, recanalization of some CTO lesion subsets which include complex morphology (heavily calcified lesions, heavily tortuous lesions and long lesions) is still difficult and there are some pit falls during these procedures. To overcome the difficult situation during PCI for complex CTO lesions, improvement of operator’s skill and brush-up of technique and knowledge are very important. CTO Club has pursued the best strategy and procedure for complex CTO lesions for almost 20 years. During the last few years, the interest and knowledge for CTO intervention have been widely spread all over the world and the half of participants of CTO Club came from outside of Japan. Therefore, in the 19th CTO Club in 2018, live demonstration from AP CTO Club and IJCTO will be demonstrated in addition to live demonstration from two Japanese sites. The purpose of CTO Club is to inform all participants useful and important technical innovations. Various issues of CTO PCI will be discussed with experts from all over the world in all scientific sessions.
